Two persons were killed and 20 others injured in a bomb blast at Dudhnoi Tiniali in Goalpara district of western Assam this evening. The injured include three policemen.
ADGP SN Singh said the blast occurred around 7 30 PM in the heart of Dudhnoi town. The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital. Mr Singh said the blast was unrelated to the ongoing state polls and was triggered by militants.
