गैंग रेप हुआ और पुलिस ने ज़ुबान सिलवा दी..!Haryana Home Secretary P K Das and Haryana Director General of Police Yash Pal Singhal today said that government is taking the reported incident of gangrape with women near a dhaba at Murthal in Sonepat district seriously and has constituted a three member committee headed by a DIG to probe the incident.

They were addressing a press conference at Chandigarh today.

DGP said that the earlier a team comprising senior IAS and IPS officer was formed on the same day to inquire the matter.

The news report about the incident appeared in a English daily. He said that these two officers did not find any clue during their visit to the reported spot.

He said that district authorities have not reported any such incident and nobody has come personally to police with any complaint. He said that the committee formed now include three women police officers and they will stay at Sonepat during the probe so that victims of alleged sexual assault can approach them for complaint.

DGP said that action will be taken on even zero FIR. DGP said that the identity of complainant woman would not be disclosed. He said that team of police has recovered some clothes from nearby fields and police is trying to ascertain the identity of the person whom they belong and whether anything happened to them.
