Three Maoists, including one from Chhatisgarh, were killed in an encounter with security forces in the forest near Bhejaguda forest in Malkangiri district in Odisha, on Saturday.
Malkangiri Superintendent of Police said one of these slain Maoists, Sunadhar was a divisional committee member of Darbha division of CPI (Maoist) organization, who hails from adjoining Chhatisgarh.
The Odisha Government had declared five lakh rupees for capture of Sunadhar.
AIR correspondent reports that the identity of other two Maoists killed has still being ascertained.
