and asked him to give political representation to the community in the government, parliament and assemblies 
While putting several long standing demand of Indian Sindhis, they also told prime minister that the Sindhi community in the country were in great danger as they did not have their political identity. They said that their language and culture are also in peril.
The other demand put before the prime minister include land for setting up a Sindhi cultural academy, space for Sindhi language on the national television & radio channels and reservation of seats in professional courses for Sindhis.
The other member of the delegation who met Prime Minister at his residence include Mr. Sudesh Sachdev, Mrs. Uma Lala, Mr. Mahesh Rajani & Hemant Khatwani.
