On Wednesday and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Supremo Ram Vilas Paswan, met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and asked him for a CBI enquiry into the Forbesganj police firing. He told prime minister that state government was trying to hush up the matter as no action has been taken against any senior officials for the inhuman crime committed in Araria.
“NDA government in Bihar is terrorizing and scarring the Muslim community on a planned and systematic basis and thereby vitiating the communal harmony in the state,” Paswan told PM.
He said that the NDA government in Bihar was moving in a dangerous direction to repeat Gujarat.
Accusing Nitish Kumar and his government in Bihar as insensitive Paswan said that despite such a heinous crime and serious human rights violations no cabinet minister visited the site. Chief Minister instead went to China after the incident.
Paswan said that the Prime minister has assured his delegation that he would ask the Home Minister P Chidambaram to look into the matter.
Paswan delegation includes LJP MP Sabir Ali and LJP general secretary Abdul Khaliq.
