Over one lakh 17 thousand new Covid cases reported in last 24 hrs

Union Health Ministry has said that a total of three thousand seven cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19 have been reported so far in the country. Out of these total cases, one thousand 199 patients have already recovered and migrated.
Maximum number of 876 cases have been reported from Maharashtra followed by Delhi wherein 465 cases have been reported so far. Omicron cases have been reported in 27 States and Union Territories.
Health and Family Welfare Ministry today said, over 149 crore 66 lakh doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the country under the nationwide vaccination drive.
The Ministry said, more than 94 lakh 47 thousand Covid vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours to the beneficiaries.
Thirty thousand 836 Covid patients have recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 97.57 percent. More than three crore 43 lakh 71 thousand patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the country so far.
The country reported over one lakh 17 thousand new Covid cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is over three lakh 71 thousand. The Ministry said, more than 68 crore 68 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
