At least 23 people were killed while 35 others injured in a tragic road accident in Uddhampur district of Jammu region today. According to Police sources the accident occurred when a passenger bus on the way from Latty to Jammu rolled down into a road side deep gorge at Maroti in Latty area this morning.
The rescue operation was going on and so far 23 bodies have been recovered. Condition of some of the injured is said to be critical and they are being rushed to district hospital Uddhampur and GMC Hospital in Jammu. Further Details are waited.
