Uttar Pradesh Labour Minister, Shahid Mansoor’s daughter, Abida was drowned in river Ganga near Rishikesh on Sunday.According to sources, 24 year old Abida, a student of Subharati Medical College, Meerut, had come to Rishikesh along with her friends for river rafting.
It is reported that she was drowned and swept away as her raft turned turtle near Garur Chatti. Search for her body is on. Meanwhile, the State Home Secretary has ordered an inquiry onto the accident.
