hillary-trum-tv-footageUnited States, Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton today hit out at Republican rival Donald Trump on his plans to ban Muslims from entering the country.

In the second Presidential debate, Mrs Clinton said, the plan will be shortsighted and dangerous. Saying that US is not at war with Islam, Mrs Clinton said, as President she will not let anyone into the country who she thinks poses a risk to America, but a lot of refugees, mostly women and children, cannot be refused entry just because they are Muslims.

Asked whether the ban on Muslims entering the US is no longer his position, Mr Trump said, the ban in some form has morphed into an extreme vetting from certain areas of the world. He said, hundreds of thousands people are coming into US and there is no idea who they are, where they are from and what their feelings about the country are.

Mrs Clinton also hit out at Mr Trump for his lewd remarks against women and said his comments show that he is unfit for the White House. Trump said, he was embarrassed by the video in which he made obscene comments about women, but dismissed it as locker room talk.

The two also clashed on Obamacare and taxes.Meanwhile, a poll conducted in US has projected Mrs Clinton clear winner of the debate. The CNN-ORC poll of debate watchers said, 57% people said, Clinton won as opposed to 34% for Trump. The poll also said Trump exceeded expectations.
