Shiv Sena President Uddav Thackeray has ruled out breaking of ties with BJP and said that the partnership will continue. He said we are not the people who break the family. Mr Thackeray was addressing the Dussehra rally at historical Shivaji Park in Mumbai yesterday.

He demanded the implementation of common Civil Code and Bharat Ratna for freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Sawarkar. In his address, Mr Thackeray, however, attacked the coalition partner on most current issues including the Ram temple, beef ban in the state, Dadari lynching and atrocities against Dalits and inflation particularly rising prices of pulses.
