India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the temperature in North-West India is likely to reduce by four to six degree Celsius in the next four days. It said that a fresh and active Western Disturbance is likely to move over Northwest India during 23rd to 26th of this month. It will be accompanied by moisture supply from the Arabian Sea.

Director General of Meteorology Dr. Mrutyunjay Mohapatra said that rainfall is expected at most places over Northwest India on 24th and 25th of this month. He said that there will be no heat wave condition till 28th May and the temperature is likely to arise again afterwards.
