Talking to media here  Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh said, a meeting of all Districts Magistrates of these districts will be held on 13th of this month to discuss the modalities of the schemes.

Mr Ramesh said, these schemes will be implemented in 9 states including Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. He said, implementation of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna and Land reforms will be high on the agenda.

Mr. Ramesh said that his Ministry has prepared a document with the consultation of concerned districts for the implementation of all the nine rural development schemes.

The Minister said that his Ministry has received requests from different states for inclusion of 18 more districts in the list. Mr Ramesh said, a meeting of non-governmental organisations working in naxal affected districts, will be convened to discuss their role in the implementation of the rural development schemes.
