South Korea has termed the Trump-Kim summit as the talks of the century. South Korean President Moon Jae-in hoped that the summit will be a success and result in complete denuclearisation, peace and a new era in relations between the two Koreas and the United States.
Moon’s earlier meetings with Kim had paved the way for the Singapore summit.
China Calls for full denuclearisation to resolve tensions

China has praised the meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, calling for full denuclearisation to resolve the tensions in the Korean peninsula.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told reporters in Beijing that to resolve the issue, there should of course be full denuclearisation, and at the same time, there needs to be a peace mechanism for the peninsula, to address North Korea’s reasonable security concerns.
