The Ahmedabad international airport authority has started screening the passengers for Zika virus following an advisory from the Centre.
According to sources in Airport Authority, the screening is being carried out to ensure that Zika virus does not enter India. Doctors and medical staff have been deputed at the Sardar Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad for this purpose.
