Heat wave conditions are prevailing over many parts of Rajasthan. MeT department official M Mohapatra said, temperatures are over 40 degrees over many parts of North, West, Central and Eastern India.
Mr Mohapatra also said, the areas that have not been covered by monsoon so far, namely southern parts of peninsula and North Eastern states, will continue to get good amount of rainfall. He said, pre-monsoon thunderstorm activity is also occuring over coastal Odisha and adjoining areas. He said the normal date of onset of monsoon in Delhi is 29th June.
