Curfew has been imposed in Banswara city following clashes between two community over a religious site on Thursday. The situation is still tense but under control. All the petrol pumps are closed and Internet services have been suspended.
At least 20 people including 10 policemen were injured in the clashes. Police have registered cases against 70 people in the matter. Home Minister Gulab Chand Katariya said that he is monitoring the situation and gave necessary instruction to the district administration and police.
