President Mukherjee condemned the terrorist attack in Dhaka. In his message via tweet, the president said he is deeply saddened at the loss of life and injuries caused to innocent civilians in this dastardly attack. Mr. Mukherjee said the people of India stand by the people of Bangladesh at this difficult hour and share their grief. He said India condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and there can be no justification for such senseless acts of violence.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to the Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina and strongly condemned the despicable attack in Dhaka. In a series of tweets, Mr Modi said that India stands firmly with its sisters and brothers of Bangladesh in this hour of grief.
He said, the attack in Dhaka has pained us beyond words. Mr Modi said, his thoughts are with the bereaved families. He also prayed for early recovery of those injured in the terror attack.
