PARLIAMENTPrime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed hope that the Monsoon Session of Parliament will be fruitful. Talking to media outside Parliament, Mr Modi said all members should contribute towards taking good decisions during 3-week long session. The Prime Minister said that promises made by some political parties during the last session will be kept. Mr Modi said, yesterday the all party meeting was fruitful and the government wants that everyone work together for the development of the country.

Earlier, talking to media, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said, government is ready for discussion on every issue on the floor of the two houses. He expressed hope that all opposition parties will participate in debates and discussions. Mr Naidu urged the opposition not to disrupt the proceedings in both the houses. When asked about controversy related to the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister said, Mrs Swaraj will make her stand clear on her own.
