THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: (AMN) The Popular Front of India (PFI) will not be able to hold its Independence Day parades in Kerala as the authorities in all district have clamed a ban on the party’s programme. District collectors of Thrissur, Wayanad, Pathanamthitta and Thiruvananthapuram Saturday issued orders banning the Freedom Parades by the party. Popular Front of India.

The authorities in all other nine districts have also issued similar instructions. The PFI announced holding freedom parades in four districts on Friday but the administration objected the idea based on police reports.
Meanwhile, Popular Front of India will hold freedom parade and grand public meeting in Mettupalayam, Tamil Nadu. Police has granted permission for the parade & public meeting. The celebration will be kick started with the parade consisting of 1000 cadres that will take place in the Marhoom Meeran ground located opposite to the Taluk office in sirumugai road of Mettupalayam. After the parade, a grand Public Meeting would be conducted. M.Mohamed ali jinnah, Tamilnadu state president, Popular Front of India, would preside the meeting.
The PFI Karnataka chapter, will also celebrate Independence Day grandly in Udupi and Mysore on 15 August. The programs will be held at Belapu Ground of Kapu in Udupi and Mysore. Flag hosting, Parade and cultural program will be conducted on the day.
According to PFI sources earlier Karnataka Police had denied permission for Popular Front of India to celebrate Independence Day. The organization had petitioned in the high court questioning the police action and the court granted permission.
