In yet another ceasefire violation, Pak army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing with small arms and heavy mortar shelling along the LoC in Balakote sector of district Poonch today.
PRO defence, Colonel Davinder Anand has said that the PaK army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing and heavy Mortar shelling along the LoC in Balakote sector of Poonch district today at about 1,515 hours.
He said Pak army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and thereafter heavy mortar shelling along the LoC in Balakote sector of Poonch district. The Indian Army troop guarding the fence are retaliating befittingly with equal caliber. The exchange of fire continued till reports late last came. More details are awaited.
