After this remark the BJP now wants a discussion on 2G, with specific reference to the role of Manmohan Singh and Chidambaram.
Appealing to the Opposition to work together, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said, “There are matters, which are in the courts…those are best left to the courts to decide”.
“No answers can be given by him (PM) and therefore he has decided to sidetrack the entire issue, and instead attack the Opposition,” said BJP leader Arun Jaitley.
The Government sources say it’s unacceptable, while it can agree to a general discussion on corruption.
“If the debate is raised in Parliament, the Government will reply to the debate,” said Chidambaram
