India’s oldest Muslim Organisation, the Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadees Hind, has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend a conference, meant to create environment against Terrorism.
The conference will be held on 12-13 March, at Ramlila Ground in New Delhi.
“Yes we have invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the conference. We had also invited him for our earlier conference when he was chief minister of Gujarat. He even sent message for the conference,” said Asghar Ali Imam Mahadi Salfi Markazi, the General Secretary of Jamiat Ahle Hadees Hind. He however, said that this time he had not received any response for the PMO.
The organisation have also invited different leaders from different parties for the two days conference on “The Role and rights of Imams and Preachers in Promoting Humanity and Establishing a Peaceful Society.”
The Conference will focus on most alarming situations in India and around the globe like Terrorism, , DAISH (ISIS), intolerence, disharmony, chaos, mistrust and the need of Peace and humanity.
“We belive that Imam and Prechers did great job in promoting humanity and establishing peaceful society in the past and they can play more important role even today” said Asghar Ali.
