The Trinamul Congress Chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Miss Mamata Banerjee has firmly denied any political understanding of her party with BJP after the recent visit of Prime Minister in the State.

Addressing a rally of the student’s wing of her party in Kolkata today, Miss Banerjee clarified that she took part in the programmes of Narendra Modi to discharge constitutional responsibilities and to maintain Centre State relations.

Refuting opposition charges on the issue, Miss Banerjee said that the Trinamul Congress will not forge any alliance with any communal party and will fight next Assembly elections in the state alone slated to be held next year. She also directed her party’s student wing to give befitting replying on malicious campaign against her Government by using social media.
