External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has said, Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela gave hope to those facing injustice and discrimination.
The External Affairs Minister was the keynote speaker at a banquet at Pietermaritzburg in South Africa, marking the 125th anniversary of the day, when on 7th June, 1893, Mahatma Gandhi, a young lawyer then, was thrown off a train compartment reserved for whites only.
