Madhya Pradesh government has raised the retirement age of state government employees from 60 to 62 years.
This was announced by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Bhopal today. He said the move will provide the opportunity to those who did not get promotions due to various reasons.
Chief Minister said, there have been cases where an employee retires without getting due promotions and retirement age has been raised keeping in mind their plight. Mr Chouhan said it is right of every employee to get promoted as per seniority.
