The notification to this effect has already been issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DOP&T) of the central government.

Minister of State for Minority Affairs Vincent H. Pala in written reply in the Lok Sabha said “the certificates issued by Madrasa Boards which have been granted equivalence by the State Education Boards to that of their Secondary and Senior Secondary qualifications, have also been equated with corresponding certificates of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council of Board of School Education in India (COBSE) and other School Examination Boards”, he added that the certificates would be used for the purpose of employment and entry to higher level education.
