Lokpal Bill to be introduced in LS on Thursday

The Bill was finalised by the Central Government on the 28th of last month. As part of the normal procedure, the Bill will be referred to a standing committee after its introduction in Parliament. The government hopes that if the Standing Committee comes out with its recommendations on the bill by August-end, then it could go ahead with its passage.
