The leaders of Germany, France and Italy to meet Monday to discuss how to keep the European project together since Britain’s vote to leave European Union.

Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande will meet on an island off the coast of Naples ahead of September’s EU summit in Bratislava, Slovakia.

An EU official said tomorrow’s meeting of the premiers of the three largest EU economies aims to show the unity of Europe’s three biggest countries.
The goal of the meeting is to preserve the status quo and to prevent a further disintegration of the EU-27, official said.
