Ms. Jayalalitha said that the whole country is concerned about the issue of corruption and the Supreme Court is playing an active role in tackling the menace. Jayalalitha, who met the Prime Minister here on Tuesday submitted a detailed memorandum containing issues ranging from the alleged war crimes against Tamils in Sri Lanka to special package for fishermen and enhanced central allocations to the state.

Later briefing the media, she said, Congress was still in alliance with the DMK, so ‘there is no question of any realignment at the centre’.
