Japanese people are perhaps the most disciplined ones in all respect globally throughout the world making the small island-country progressing in every field despite odd circumstances.

Their Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has set a noble example for politicians across the world including in largest democracy of India by mid-way resigning before his term ends after 13 months in September 2021. What more, he in his farewell speech instead of boasting his achievements, regretted for unfulfilled commitments made to his public.

Even India had idealistic politicians like Nanaji Deshmukh who resigned from post of Union Cabinet Minister on reaching to the age of 60 years to follow his own philosophy that persons above 60 years must not remain on legislative posts.

On the contrary, oldest national party of India has not yet been able to find a new President even though its present President apart from being an aged person is also not keeping well. India should study a model whereby no person may be able to contest any direct election after achieving age of 65 years. Experienced ones if needed in central government, can be made members of Rajya Sabha. However totally useless constitutional provision of having legislative-councils in states should be abolished because these serve no practical purpose other than being an undesired white-elephant on state public-exchequers mainly for rehabilitating favourites of political bosses in legislature. Moreover system of one person one post should be implemented so that a person may not get legislative and party posts at one given time.
