US says India is an incredibly valuable and close counter-terrorism partner of the United States. This was stated by the US Counter-terrorism Coordinator, Nathan Sales in Washington during a teleconference at the conclusion of the conference on Law Enforcement Efforts to defeat Islamic States terror group.
Describing India as an incredibly important counter-terrorism partner of the America, Sales said the future is very bright for US-India counter-terrorism corporation.
He said US President, Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a very, very productive series of meetings earlier and both the Governments have forged ahead to create a really powerful partnership.
Sales also said South Asia is one of the areas of the world where ISIS has an increasingly robust presence.
He said US is working with its partners in the region to develop a shared understanding of the threat that these organisations pose to the Governments.
