After unlocking Delhi since 01.06.2020, Delhi is witnessing regular jump in corona cases and deaths. Three earning members of a prominent business-family died due to corona with rest members of the family being corona-positive only because earning members of the family brought corona from the market when they went to their shop on first day of unlocking Delhi.

Likewise several market-associations had to decide by themselves to shut down their shops for two weeks after several businessmen became corona-positive on first day of unlocking Delhi.

Attendance in Delhi-based offices of central and Delhi governments is very thin with most offices working with restricted staff by following roaster-system. It seems that Delhi was unlocked despite being in red zone only because Delhi government needed funds where earlier funds were liberally spent on media-advertisements and freebies in corona-days.

Experiment can be made by unlocking Delhi three days a week i.e. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday keeping Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays with strictest lockdown to compare corona cases on locked and unlocked days of the week.

If number of corona cases are higher on days of unlocking, then one more complete lockdown for complete month of July may be considered in complete NCR of Delhi to bring deteriorating situation in control. It also becomes necessary because July is also unhealthy season for dengue and chikungunya People should be informed well in advance if complete lockdown is considered for month of July. Government-funds should be very miserly spent to save resources for future.
