Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has allowed serving of liquor in hotels, restaurants and clubs in the national capital from 9th to 30th September on a trial basis.

In a statement, DDMA said, bars in the containment zone will remain closed and only those outside the containment zone will be opened.

The entry will only be allowed to persons with face cover or mask. It said, only asymptomatic staff and customers will be allowed. There should be mandatory provision of hand hygiene and thermal screening at the entrance.

DDMA said, not more than 50 per cent of the approved seating capacity will be allowed inside the hotel, restaurant and club. All measures outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure for hotel and restaurant issued by the Ministry of Health and family welfare have to be strictly followed.
