Pawan Hans helicopter with five ONGC employees and two pilots on board went missing after taking off from Juhu airport today. Indian Coast Guard said the chopper made the last contact with the Air Traffic Control at 1035 hrs.

It was flying 30 nautical miles off Mumbai. ICG has diverted ship and aircraft to the area to locate the missing chopper.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation said, all their choppers including from each of their naval bases are searching the missing helicopter. The chopper was scheduled to land at North Field of ONGC at around 11 am
