Heavy rains continued to lash Mumbai city and suburbs along with many parts of Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Kolhapur, Solapur and Osmanabad districts.
Some houses, sheds and compound walls were damaged due to the rain in Sangameshwar and Rajapur tehsil of Ratnagiri. According to the Regional meteorological Centre, heavy rains accompanied with lightning and gusty winds is expected in Coastal districts as well as in other districts of Maharashtra in the next 24 hours.
