Cold wave conditions have abated slightly in North West, Central and Western India due to western disturbance. Widespread snowfall has occurred in hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and some place of Uttarakhand in the past couple of days due to the western disturbance.
Scattered rain has been witnessed in several areas over Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
Met official Charan Singh said minimum temperature is not likely to drop for next 2-3 days and dense morning fog is likely areas in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan.
