Guru Purnima festival was celebrated with gaiety and devotion at Yogda Ashram in Sector 62, Noida. Highlighting the importance of Guru Purnima, Swami Adyanand said that this is a way to offer reverence, devotion and gratitude to your Guru. There is a fair opportunity. He told that the true guru is the one who has established contact with God. Guru is a form of God through which God talks to His devotees.

Quoting from the book Yogi Kathamrit written by Paramahansa Yogananda, Swami Adyanand said that Adi Shankaracharya has said that the three worlds are greater than the true Guru. There is nothing else in it. The one who goes to the guru’s shelter becomes his own. It is only by the grace of God that we get a guru. Guru comes into our life to lead us from darkness to light and protects us from all dangers Maya etc.The place takes place to Bhagwat Dham.

He said that there are three qualities of a guru. They are omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. “They want us three times as much as we want God and Guru,” he quoted Dayamata as saying . If we take one step towards them , they both take three steps towards us .

He told that we should have full devotion and dedication in the Guru. When we become in harmony with the Guru, he takes all our actions over himself and then our life is taken over by the Guru according to his plan.Let’s run.
