Gujarat Government has announced 10,000 rupees as a festival advance to all officers and employees of the state government.
According to official release, 10,000 rupees will be given without interest to more than five lakh employees on the occasion of Diwali. The amount of advance will be given in Rupay Card to encourage the digital transaction mode. The State government will recover this advance payment amount in ten equal installments without interest.
