Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri met a bipartisan U.S. Congressional delegation led by the Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Brian Mast, in New Delhi. In a social media post, Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs Randhir Jaiswal said that during the meeting, the two sides held discussions on the entire gamut of India-U.S. relations. They discussed the recently enacted Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act and the future trajectory of the relationship. Both sides also exchanged views on international issues of mutual concern, energy security, counter-terrorism and freedom of navigation.
