While situation in Egypt is returning to normal, country’s foreign minister has requested international help for Egyptian economy, which has been severely affected by the political crisis. But ripple effects of Egypt and Tunisia are seen in Yemen, Bahrain and Algeria so far and protestors took to the streets in Tehran. Palestinian Authority has decided to form a new cabinet in an attempt to pre-empt any possible reaction. In neighbouring Yemen, young demonstrators are regularly protesting against government demanding resignation of President Abdullah Saleh, who is in power for than 30 years. In Iran, opposition leaders have compared the unrest in Egypt and Tunisia with their own struggles saying all revolts in the region are aimed at ending the oppression of the rulers.
