Massive tremors were felt in the Northern part of India including National Capital Delhi on Tuesday after two earthquakes with magnitude 4.6 and 6.2 hit Nepal.
National Centre for Seismology said, the epicenter was Nepal at a depth of 5 kilometres. The first earthquake hit at 2:25 this afternoon and second at 2:51 on Tuesday afternoon. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualty.
Twin earthquakes with Bajhang epicentre jolt western Nepal
Two earthquakes with epicentres in Bajhang district jolted western Nepal on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, an earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale was recorded at 2:40pm and another 6.3 magnitude quake at 3:06pm.
The jolts were also felt in Kathmandu.
