A Delhi court has issued a non-bailable warrant against industrialist Vijay Mallya for allegedly evading summons in a FERA violation matter. The court said that he has scant regard for the law of the land and has no intention to return to India. It also added that Mallya’s claim that he wants to return to the country but his passport has been revoked, was malafide and abuse of process.

The court also issued another non-bailable warrant against Mallya in a 2012 cheque bounce case lodged by DIAL.
