Janata Dal (United) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar says Congress is part of an alliance to fight upcoming Assembly elections against BJP in the State. Addressing a news conference in Patna today, he dismissed that RJD has any objection to Congress being an alliance partner.
Nitish Kumar said JD (U) and RJD leaders will meet tomorrow to decide on seat sharing. Kumar said three members from each party will take part in the meeting. He added that there is a consensus among the alliance partners on staying united against the BJP in the elections. JD(U) and RJD yesterday agreed to form an alliance .
