Congress has made it clear that it will attend all-party meeting if Prime Minister comes out with tangible proposal to break the deadlock in Parliament. Briefing media in New Delhi this evening, party spokesperson Anand Sharma said, Congress is not interested in photo-ops and the government will first have to tell his party what action is being taken on its demands. Mr Sharma said, stalemate in Parliament is the result of arrogance of the Government and the Prime Minister has made no effort to ensure that Parliament functions efficiently.
He said, the Government has no legislative agenda in Parliament and this shows its seriousness. He said, his party made it clear in the meeting with the Lok Sabha Speaker that it is up to the Government to ensure that Parliament runs efficiently.
