Briefing reporters in New Delhi, Party spokesman Manish Tewari denied allegation of political vendetta in the CBI’s investigation into the involvement of Reddy brothers in illegal mining.
He criticized the BJP of crying hoarse every time CBI investigates against its leaders. He said that they point out irregularities into CBI’s functioning only when charges against them are being investigated.
Replying to a question on the Gujarat Lokayukta issue, Mr Tewari did not make any statement, saying that the matter is sub-judice.
