Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has alleged that the Centre was taking back all the projects brought in by the Congress in the region. Rahul Gandhi, who held small meetings in Suchi and Vindaganj villages under Salon assembly segment of his Amethi Parliament constituency, was peeved over the ”step-motherly treatment” by the Centre on the development projects in the region.
In a brief interaction with media in Amethi on first day of visit to his parliamentary constituency, he said that ‘patriotism is in his blood’ and no one can question about his love for the country. Mr Gandhi said those who are questioning him should answer where were they when Congress and others fought during the Independence movement.
