Union Minister for Human Resources Development Prakash Javdekar today asserted that the Central Government is committed to preserve all Indian languages along with Sanskrit, which is known as the mother language. He was addressing a gathering at the Seventh Convocation Ceremony of the Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University at Ramtek near Nagpur today.
Mentioning that the prime objective of the process of education is to develop the younger generation in order to create knowledgeable, skilled and enabled human resources, the Minister further assured that those who study and excel in Indian Languages have a bright future too.
Dwelling upon the National Academic Depository, an initiative taken by the Human Resource Development Ministry, Mr. Javadekar said that it is a step towards achieving Digital enablement of the Educational records. It would help store the university degrees and other important documents relating to the educational qualifications in digitized form and its introduction would curb the malpractices such as fake degrees and dummy candidates etc.
