The investigating agency filed the supplementary charge-sheet in the court of special judge O.P.Saini.

CBI sources said that the investigating agency has concluded in the chargesheet that she was a stake holder in Kalingnar TV and was pursuing its matter in Delhi. Sources said she was also actively associated with former Telecom Minister A. Raja and her subsequent conversation with corporate lobbyist Neera Radia proved that she was interested in Raja retaining the Telecom portfolio.

The agency has also named Kalaignar TV MD Sharad Kumar as accused in the charge sheet. CBI spokesperson told reporters that the names of eight persons including former Minister A. Raja figure in the list for their alleged involvement in the issuance of new unified access services, licenses and subsequent allocation of 2G spectrum in 2008-2009.

The names of the other five persons accused in the charges sheet include Shahid Balwa, Vinod Goenka, Asif Balwa, Rajiv Agarwal and Karim Morani. On questions why Dayalu Amal holding sixty per cent stake in the Kalingar TV was not charge sheeted, CBI sources said that she was not actively involved in its working and had not signed a single document. She also does not understand any other language apart from Tamil.
