Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday personally visited Turkman Gate to inspect the Food Safety Department’s crackdown on food adulteration, which resulted in the seizure of 7,000 kg of adulterated khoya.
During the visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the enforcement action and directed officials to take strict legal action against those involved in the illegal activity. She stressed that food safety violations would not be tolerated and that those responsible must face action under the law.
The Chief Minister also directed the concerned departments to intensify inspections and raids across Delhi to prevent the sale of adulterated food products. She underlined that enforcement should not remain limited to the festive season but must continue throughout the year to protect public health and ensure the availability of safe food.
