SSVBSP today continued to insist on the resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Talking to reporters outside Parliament, party Chief Mayawati said a discussion should take place in Parliament on these issues only after resignations. She said BJP leaders have violated law in these matters particularly in Lalit Modi scandal. Ms. Mayawati also attacked Samajwadi Party for supporting Sushma Swaraj on the issue alleging that the ruling party in Uttar Pradesh does not believe in law. She alleged that the law and order has become a big casualty in Uttar Pradesh ever since SP government came to power.
